FINDING SUPPORT @ HOPE RESTORED
An Emotional Logic retreat centre for women
I offer you a safe & personalized space in a peaceful Fisherman’s cottage on the West Coast, one hour’s drive outside of Cape Town. My aim is to teach you new skills to equip you to understand your emotions so that you can make sense of them.

Emotional Logic ~ How can my emotions be logical when they seem erratic and take me on a rollercoaster ride? Discover the fail-safe link between your emotions and your personal set of values. Learning Emotional Logic shifts your relationship with your emotions from unease to a safe partnership.
Option B: Personal counselling retreat. If you need a quiet, private space where you can rest, restore and catch your breath, this is just for you. In our online screening meeting, we decide together on your need and align the amount of support sessions required. Private self-catering accommodation.
Option C: Emotional Stepdown. When your body is broken in a car accident, you go to a hospital for medical treatment. Should you need further physical rehabilitation and to develop new skills how to deal with your injuries, you go to a stepdown facility. Where do you go when you feel broken by a loss, but a psychiatric clinic does not suit your need? How do you restore your inner peace? Come away and take time out to heal in the safe structure of daily counselling support. Shift from confusion to clarity as you process your pain and loss. Private self-catering accommodation. Online screening meeting before booking.

Emotional stepdown testimony “I am a widow and currently 28 weeks pregnant. My husband passed away on the 27th of July 2025, and in the weeks that followed, I found myself struggling to understand my emotions and what grief truly meant. My heart and mind were in constant conflict, and it often felt as if a dark cloud was hanging over me with no way forward.
Through the opportunity of working with Annette at Hope Restored, I can honestly say that I feel a pathway has been cleared before me. For the first time since my loss, I feel as though I can begin to take steps forward. Annette has helped me identify my emotions, understand them, and accept that it is okay to feel the way I do. She has guided me to see that what I’m experiencing is part of the grieving process, and that there is no shame in allowing myself to grieve.
Most importantly, she has taught me how to better understand myself, to stay rooted in my values, and to accept help from others when I need it. I am deeply grateful for the compassion and guidance I’ve received—it has given me hope and the strength to continue my journey.”
