Journeying with Grief
About Annette
Life puts things on our plate that we don’t want there. You want to say: “This is the wrong address – I did not sign up for this!”
The most significant shaping of my life, happened during my husband André’s journey of 35 years with depression as a clinical illness. He was a kind and compassionate man who sacrificed much to develop a hospital ministry that provided pastoral care in government hospitals. His suicide in the stressful financial times of lockdown during Covid 19, was a devastating blow for us as a family. Facing the raw emotions of my grief with the gentle tools of Emotional Logic, has anchored me and helped to mend my heart. Writing a series of blogs was a useful outlet to pace myself in my pain.
