Schedule an individual Zoom session of 90 minutes (between 9 – 21 Feb) with one of my team members for a personal learning appointment where we apply the method to a situation in your own life. Homework assignment: Do a creative conversation with someone where you apply the three phases of EL. Email it to me for written supervision feedback (30 min for card pattern analysis and feedback). Time of session: 2 hours combined with homework assignment.

  • Registration with the EL College and access to “Getting Going” and the online tools site for distance counselling on Zoom


2. Foundation award: Train as a Change Facilitator in society

CPSC awarded 8 CPD points; Ministers of religion (DR Church) 30 points

Four webinars of 90 minutes each on Zoom, combined with self-study of four coursework books and the completion of an assignment on each. As assignment will take about three hours to complete. This is followed by a two hour group supervision session on the application of the theory that you have learned. Feedback is given by your tutor.

Monday 9, 16, 23 & 30 May. The group will be consulted on the preferred time slot of the 90 minute training webinar. Either 08:00 – 9:30 am or 18:30 – 20:00.

The aim of learning EL is to start healthy changes by:

  • Teaching conversational skills in home and at work that will reduce stress and improve emotional wellness by establishing hope.
  • Prevent common mental illness by personal growth to create more confidence in relating to others and changing situations.

You will receive Coursebooks 1 – 4 electronically and have access to the online materials of the Emotional Logic Training College .

Coming Through Stronger: Explore how to turn emotional turmoil into the energy to grow with others. The following themes are covered:

  • Making sense of your emotions during times of change, setback, hurt, or disappointment.
  • Feeling safe with your emotions to energise your Growth Cycle.
  • Feeling stuck in life, and getting unstuck to move on constructively.
  • Moving conversations on from feelings and behaviour to naming values and agreeing action plans.
  • A two hour group supervision session on the application of the theory you have learned.

Costs: R2000 Staged payments can be arranged.
